We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Zainul Haque Shiekh as Division Head: Water and Sanitation. With over 26 years of experience in the built environment across Asia, Australia, and Africa (Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Lesotho, Ghana, and South Africa), Zain is a professionally registered civil engineer and holds a Master's degree in civil engineering. His skills and experience encompass strategy development, a robust technical proficiency in Water and Sanitation, leadership and management of multi-disciplinary teams, international exposure, coaching and mentoring, client management, project management, and strong design capabilities. We eagerly anticipate Zain's leadership in the Water and Sanitation Division and extend our best wishes as he becomes a part of the Mariswe family.

We are pleased to welcome Ms Sizakele Mofokeng as the Lead Engineer: Geometric Design in the Transportation division with effect from 01 February 2024. Sizakele will be based in our Bryanston office. Sizakele is a professionally registered civil engineering Technologist with 13 years of experience, specialising in road and drainage design and documentation. Her key experience includes road planning, detail design and documentation; preparation of schedules and tender documents; compilation of proposals i.e. assisting with pricing and formulating methodologies and site supervision. We look forward to Sizakele leading the Geometric team and wish her well as she joins the Mariswe family.
