Project Detail
Water Utilities Corporation of Botswana commissioned a Design and Build Contract for the purpose of increasing the water supply to the Lobatse area. Bergstan was appointed by the Design and Build Contractor, who in turn appointed Mariswe to assist with various aspects of the project.
The project consisted of:
- A large (1.09 m3/s @ 320m) pump station located near the outskirts of Gaborone – Forest Hill Pump Station.
- A 16 Ml concrete reservoir on a hill to the North of Lobatse including the concrete access road – Northern reservoir
- A 56 km DN 900mm steel pipeline from Forest Hill Pumpstation to Northern reservoir including a number of take offs along the route.
