Heritage Day is about celebrating our cultural roots. It is also about our shared heritage as a nation.

“This heritage includes engineering achievements too numerous to mention. But we need to do so much better if all our citizens are to benefit from what our country has to offer. “Let us begin by training more engineers and encouraging diversity in this critical sector. The experienced elders of our profession must mentor young entrants so that they, too, have the passion and knowledge to create a rich heritage around our built environment.
